About The Author

Tom Crandall

Tom Crandall is the editor of GearMashers.com, where he reviews home gym and garage gym equipment based on hands-on use. From squat racks and sleds to cardio machines and training accessories, he focuses on how equipment performs in a real home gym, how much space it takes up, and whether it is worth the price.

Tom has written about fitness, running, and cycling since 1988. A longtime endurance athlete, he brings decades of training experience to his reviews. He lives in Bastrop, Texas, with his wife Kathleen and their two GSPs, Finn and Qwixx.

When he isn’t testing equipment or training, Tom writes Christian apologetics books that explore questions of faith, history, and Scripture.
