What is A 21.2 Workout? | Crossfit

Crossfit announced the 2nd workout for 2021 known as the 21.2 ladder workout. It consists of 2 exercises known as the Dumbbell Overhead Snatch and Burpee Box Jump-Overs. The exercises are done for time, which is a repeat of the 17.1 (2017) Crossfit workout.

There are several divisions based on age, gender and workout type. Only the RX’d will count towards qualifying.

This year, CrossFit is doing a virtual competition, where participants have seven days to complete it and upload their scores. Those with the best scores are able to qualify for the Crossfit Games.

This year, because of Covid-19, Crossfit broke the 21.2 into 4 variations including

  • RX’d
  • Scaled
  • Foundation
  • Equipment Free

allowing just about anyone to compete.
