Facebook MarketPlace Global Search

YES you can Search Facebook Marketplace Globally using the Global Search (https://searchworldmarketplace.com/)

Throughout 2020’s COVID-19 epidemic I have successfully sold and purchased lots of cool items including bikes, Rogue Fitness gear, and misc items via Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist and Nextdoor.

FACEBOOK Marketplace

Right now my favorite way to search for USED items like fitness equipment and bike gear is to search using Facebook Marketplace.

There are 2 main reasons.

  • View A Person’s Account: You can usually check out the person’s account to see if they look shady or not. With Craigslist you usually don’t have that option.
  • Facebook Messenger: When dealing with people via Facebook Marketplace, the Facebook messenger app can really help with the communication and speed of replies. With Craigslist you are usually just replying via email, so the transactions often take a bit more time.

Obviously many items you may want might not exist in your region. For example, my wife and I live in Austin, Texas and often things are overpriced and many items are snatched up before you can blink. This is why using a global search can really help find those hard to find items.

Facebook’s Marketplace only allows you to search up to 100 miles. Luckily someone has come up with a way to eliminate that restriction allowing you to search much further and in fact, you can search all over the US.

FAQs

Can I search more than 100 miles on Facebook Marketplace?

Why Yes you can (https://searchworldmarketplace.com/). If you use Facebook’s native search, it only allows you to search up to 100 miles.
